ATTENDANCE
Our hotel operates 365 days a year therefore all team members are required to be available when needed. Some weekends and holidays will be required. Team members are expected to be ready for work and in uniform ten minutes
prior to their shift.

UNIFORMS
Uniforms should be clean and neat at all times. Team Members are responsible for tailoring, mending, laundering and ironing uniforms. Shoes should be clean, comfortable, complimentary in color to the uniform, and must be closed toed. Team Members are responsible for uniform pieces received. If an item is misplaced, you will be required to pay for it. Belts are not provided, but should be worn and complimentary in color to the uniform. Belt buckle shapes must be in good taste and compliment the uniform.

PERSONAL APPEARANCE
We believe the image you project will be a reflection of the business. Anything that could be considered distracting or
not in the best interest of our hotel will not be permitted. The appearance guidelines contained in this code of conduct
have been established by our company and may be changed at any time. Failure of any team members to adhere to these or any subsequently established or modified standards will result in appropriate disciplinary action, not excluding termination.

CLEANLINESS
Team Members are required to shower each day prior to reporting to the hotel. Due to close contact with guests and fellow staff, the use of an antiperspirant or deodorant is required. For the same reasons, the use of strong, heavy scents and fragrances is unacceptable. If you choose to wear a scent or fragrance product, please be considerate of others who may have allergic reactions or sensitivities to fragrances.

FACIAL HAIR
Men are required to shave prior to reporting to the hotel. Facial hair must be properly groomed, kept neat in
appearance and closely trimmed.

HAIRSTYLING
Hair should be neat, clean and arranged or styled in an attractive and easy-to-maintain style. Hairstyles must be
symmetrical in appearance and balanced proportionally. Mohawks and shaved designs of the head or any portion of
the head or eyebrows is unacceptable. A plain barrette, comb, or headband (no wider than one inch), in silver, gold,
tortoiseshell, black, clear, or pearl are acceptable. No more than three barrettes or combs should be worn, If a hair
ribbon is worn, it should be a solid color that matches the uniform, no wider than one inch, and should not exceed four
inches in length when tied. Hair ribbons are for the express purpose of holding hair away from the face, and are not a
decorative addition to the uniform.

HAIR COLORING
Extremes in dyeing, bleaching or coloring are not allowed. If the hair color is changed, it must be natural-looking, uniform
in color and well maintained.

MAKEUP
Women who wear makeup are required to use makeup in a conservative and tasteful manner by using natural colors
which enhance and create a fresh natural appearance.

FINGER NAILS
Clean, presentable fingernails are a must. Fingernails should not extend beyond one quarter inch of the finger tip. Polish
when worn should be conservative in color and complimentary to skin tone. Charms and decals on the fingernails is unacceptable.

JEWELRY
Rings, class rings, wedding sets, earrings, conservative business style necklaces, bracelets and wrist watches are
permitted. Ankle bracelets are unacceptable. A medical alert necklance, bracelet, or ankle bracelet is acceptable.
Earrings must be simple. matched in pair in gold, silver or a color that blends with the uniform. A single earring in each
ear is acceptable. The shape of the earring must be in good taste and complement the uniform. Earrings can be clip-on
or pierced, and must be worn on the bottom of the earlobe. One ring per hand on any finger, with the exception being a
wedding set.

UNDERGARMENTS
Appropriate undergarments are required at all times. Men should wear white t-shirts under their uniform shirts.

NAME TAGS, PINS & DECORATIONS
All team members are issued a name tag which should be worn with pride and in an upright, readable position. Name
tags should be worn in the right shoulder area. Name tags should be removed when engaging in non-business activities
such as eating on or off property. The only pins that can be worn on a name tag are the most recent service pin.

PAGERS & CELL PHONES
Personal phone calls and visitors are not allowed at work unless if is of an emergency nature. Personal pagers and cell
phones distract from the continuity in uniform appearance and therefore are not allowed.

SHOES & HOISERY
Guest Service Representatives are required to provide their own approved leather style shoe with a plain toe. Flats are
acceptable. Housekeeping Representatives are required to provide their own white athletic or nursing style shoe. Shoes
should be polished and kept in good repair. Opened toed shoes are not acceptable. Guest Service Representatives
are required to wear appropriate hosiery when necessary. Always check with management prior to purchasing work
shoes and hosiery to ensure proper style and color. It is recommended that rubber-soled shoes be worn as a safety
precaution and for comfort.

DRUG SCREENING
A drug screening and/or test may be required. Your cooperation in this area is expected.

ATTITUDE
A positive and cheerful attitude is required at all times. Our guests may not always be right, but they are always our
guests.
